Provisioning & Personal Shopping Services
At Serene Green, we're proud to offer personalized shopping and provisioning services for our customers. Whether you're stocking a vacation home, provisioning a yacht, planning an event, or simply don't have time to shop, we're happy to help.
Our provisioning service includes much more than gathering groceries from our shelves. Every order requires dedicated staff time to carefully select products, inspect quality and freshness, source specialty items, communicate with vendors, organize your order, process it through our register, package it for pickup or delivery, and coordinate any special requests.
Because these services require dedicated staff and often take employees away from serving our in-store customers, provisioning and personal shopping services are subject to the following policies.
Personal Shopping & Provisioning Fees
A provisioning fee may apply to any order that requires our staff to shop on your behalf, including orders consisting entirely of products already available at Serene Green.
Provisioning and personal shopping services may include:
Personally selecting products from our store
Inspecting produce, seafood, meats, baked goods, and other perishables for quality and freshness
Sourcing specialty products or custom orders
Purchasing products from multiple vendors
Coordinating vendor pickups
Organizing and inventorying your order
Processing your order through our register
Carefully packaging your order for pickup or delivery
Coordinating deliveries and special requests
Provisioning fees are determined on a case-by-case basis and are based on factors including order size, complexity, staffing requirements, sourcing needs, delivery requests, and turnaround time.
Advance Notice
To provide the highest level of service, we ask that:
Orders over $500 be placed at least 72 hours in advance whenever possible.
Orders requested with 48–72 hours' notice will be accommodated whenever product availability and staffing allow.
Orders placed with less than 24 hours' notice are considered rush orders and are subject to additional provisioning and expedited service fees.
Advance notice allows us to source the freshest products, coordinate with our suppliers, schedule staff appropriately, and ensure your order receives the attention it deserves.
Specialty & Custom Orders
We're happy to source products that we do not normally carry, including:
Specialty meats and custom cuts
Fresh seafood
Imported and gourmet products
Commercial kitchen supplies
Cleaning and household products
Other customer-requested specialty items
These items may require advance payment before being ordered. Products purchased specifically for a customer are considered custom orders and cannot be canceled or returned once they have been ordered from our suppliers.
Local Delivery
As a courtesy, delivery within Sag Harbor may be available at no additional charge for qualifying orders, provided delivery can be made during our normal business hours and as part of our regular delivery schedule.
Our operating hours vary seasonally. For example, during the summer season, our business hours are 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Additional delivery or service fees may apply for:
Deliveries requested before or after our normal business hours
Rush deliveries
Time-specific deliveries
Deliveries outside our regular service area
Special handling requests
All delivery requests are subject to scheduling and staff availability.
Payment
Payment information may be required before we purchase or order products specifically for a customer. Certain specialty and custom orders may also require advance payment.
